Jess & Tom’s gorgeous July wedding celebrations had the most chilled and fun party vibe, a coming together of friends and family in a relaxed, rural setting. Their ceremony and tipi reception were held in the garden of a stunning Georgian Rectory in a sleepy Buckinghamshire village. Jess wanted a mixed palette of corals, oranges, blues and pinks - bright but soft pastel shades. We incorportaed some contemporay blooms with a lovely mix of locally grown British flowers with pops of dried elements. For the outdoor ceremony we weaved a deconstructed floral arch around the beautiful garden temple. The wedding breakfast was in a tipi on the lawn; we created a dried flower cloud suspended in the centre of the tipi. The bare wood trestle tables were arranged in long runs with rustic planks raised of the tables for the sharing platters, between which we dotted a variety of bud vases (all chalk painted in soft pastel shades) full of seasonal blooms. Everything felt colourful and happy - the picture is painted so beautifully here by the wonderful Emma McNair Photography
Oh my life, this was a wedding worth waiting for, the pandemic may have had it’s moment but it didn’t steal Jess & Tom’s wedding celebrations, just delayed them a little! Thank you for baring with us and for being brave enough to change things up a little, we absolutely loved the new brief and are thrilled you did too. Huge congratulations you beautiful humans, we wish you every happiness, much love, Joules xxx
