As soon as I met Anna & Sam I knew that this was going to be one gloriously stylish wedding, and we were thrilled they chose us to help bring their vision to life. All the exquisite details were designed and planned by Anna (a super talented lady) fully supported by Sam, a perfect team from the outset and an absolute delight to work with.
Let’s start with the all important details, the magic begins here and a huge thanks goes to ARJ Photography for capturing it all so beautifully.
Anna & Sam’s vision was for a green and glorious wedding with lots of lush foliage and an overflowing natural aesthetic. The bridal flowers contained the most gorgeous scented, garden style roses, astilbe and lysimachia; nestled amongst an abundance of textured foliage.
Anna & Sam were married at the beautiful church in the village where Sam grew up. The aim was to bring the outdoors into the church so together we agreed on beautiful fern plants to line the aisle, simple but very effective.
It was a lovely walk back to Sam’s family home for the reception but oh boy did the weather challenge us all! The glorious sun gave way to high winds and torrential rain as Anna & Sam led their guests into the marquee; a graceful stroll broke out into a mad dash as the heavens opened and the downpour started. All around us laughter, warmth and humour were in abundance, it really didn’t matter because Anna & Sam were wed and had all their very favourite people to help them celebrate.
Aaaah the marquee set up, what can we say, it was absolutely stunning. Anna is a designer herself and had a very clear vision of how she wanted the marquee to look. Green, glorious nature meets modern geometric and she definitely delivered their vision with Sam’s help. We made foliage runners (the equivalent of 130 feet) for the centre of each table; decorated 15 hanging triangles with foliage (15 more were fitted with lights); decorated large white helium balloons and a back drop for the bride & groom with foliage and dotted gorgeous botanics around the chill out area of the marquee. It looked truly stunning especially when standing beneath the all green canopy, great team work all round.
We loved Anna’s choice of green dresses for her girls, all slightly different and each one selected to suit each bridesmaid perfectly.
As the natural light faded, the marquee lighting took over to create a really magical feel to the evening’s celebrations.
